Nope he does not have Armenian origins nor Italian. In Norse sagas and in the sources provided he is described as Greek. Othon I ( talk) 22:51, 6 January 2022 (UTC) reply
Since when are Norse Sagas considered valid points of reference for origin? Nordic people probably identified him as Greek because he was a Byzantine general.
