I have never understood what makes people delete information from an article, especially if this happens without apparent reason. Could you comment on this, 210.124.124.36? -- KF 05:36 Feb 14, 2003 (UTC)

-- this was a novella by Effinger that appeared in a collection of three novellas called Chains of the Sea, edited w. intro by Robert Silverberg. Seems like it should be in the list of Effinger's works. JohnMason ( talk) 20:38, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
