I've come across a handful of instances of George as a female name, which isn't mentioned in the article at all at the moment.
Is this usually a short form of Georgina or similar, or a taking after such pseudonyms as George Eliot? Does anyone here have sufficient knowledge to write a bit about this? -- Smjg ( talk) 16:21, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Seems in the Philippines just "George" is a typical female name: /info/en/?search=The_Hows_of_Us Balupton ( talk) 10:05, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
