Frequently asked questions Q1. Why is Ukraine listed as the second-largest country in Europe? France is.
It's an ambiguous statement, and depends on whether you include non-European territories or not, and whether you include disputed territories or not. The totality of France (which includes
French Guiana) is larger than Ukraine, but the European part of France (
Metropolitan France) is smaller than Ukraine. See

Climate of Ukraine → Geography of Ukraine#Climate → Main page: Climate of Ukraine. Is that OK? -- W.M.drossel ( talk) 10:32, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
"The months of April and May, the hot and dry months when schools are on their long, between-years break, are referred to as summer while in most of the Northern Hemisphere those months are part of spring." - Who told you that nonsense? The Summer Holidays in Ukraine is the longest school holidays and a between-years break starting in the end of June and ending by 1st of September with the beginning of a new school year. And April-May are same normal months of spring as everywhere in Europe. Sometimes you may still see snow on the streets in the middle of April. That part of the article (including Seasons table) looks more like telling about Japan or some tropical country but definitely not about Ukraine. Take a look at the Spanish section and you'll get more real impression on that point. I think someone copied that info from the Climate of the Philippines. UPD: Removed that garble.
