What is the right English name for the mountain range Karavanke?. Zocky are you sure that it is Karawanken. It sounds more like German to me. I believe it would be something like this: Karavanken Mountains with ordinary 'v'. -- XJamRastafire 04:57 Jan 24, 2003 (UTC)
All pages in English I found on the Internet (including many based in Slovenia) call it Karawanken, as well as an atlas in English that I have seen. I think it just got into English from German. Of course the name is originaly Slovene (or at least Slavic), but that seems to be the way it is. Zocky 09:32 Jan 24, 2003 (UTC)
