Erastosthenes

Who is this Eratosthenes the botanist mentioned in the "Natural Vegetation" section? Should this perhaps be Theophrastus? -- Macrakis 18:50, 23 May 2007 (UTC) reply

Map

The map is part of wikipedia commons, why is it being removed? 3meandEr 11:41, 11 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Per your talk page: because it only shows part of Cyprus, namely the de facto portion of the republic, and hence is limited in scope. Other maps exist, including the one already in the article which you seem to have no difficulty removing. Other maps exist. [1] Corticopia 11:47, 11 November 2007 (UTC) reply

Very incomplete article

The lemma is much bigger, complexer and widder than the article let you know. Watch f.e.g. the german article to see how much more informations there are given. greatings -- 2A02:AA15:8300:5000:CD80:8FD1:2D9B:6E5B ( talk) 14:55, 19 September 2017 (UTC) reply
