The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page as proposed at this time, per the discussion below. If the titling is an issue, it is clear that it does not apply to this page alone, which seems to be WP:CONSISTENT with similar titles. Upmerging is an editorial decision outside the scope of this close, but of course discussion on that can continue as necessary. Dekimasu よ! 09:22, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Genetic engineering in the United States →
Genetic food modification in the USA – This article is clearly just about genetic engineering of crops in the USA, and not about any other type of
genetic engineering (ie
gene therapy, ... ). So the page name should reflect this.

Usually, titles should be precise enough to unambiguously define the topical scope of the article, but no more precise than that.(bold mine). Genetic engineering in the U.S. exists as a more general topic, but that is not what this article covers. E to the Pi times i ( talk | contribs) 12:31, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
How about we then change this article to Genetically modified food in the United States, and change the other articles as well, so as to be consistent:
Genetic engineering in Europe --> Genetically modified food in Europe Genetic engineering in South America --> Genetically modified food in South America Genetic engineering in Asia --> Genetically modified food in Asia Genetic engineering in Africa --> Genetically modified food in Africa Genetic engineering in Oceania --> Genetically modified food in Oceania Genetic engineering in North America --> Genetically modified food in North America Genetic engineering in Hawaii --> Genetically modified food in Hawaii KVDP ( talk) 11:14, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Ok then, here's the request:
