Calcium source?

I understand that marine snails get most of their calcium carbonate from the seawater, but what about freshwater and terrestrial snails? Is there a significant difference in the amount they're able to obtain, and does it lead to a weaker shell? 66.31.37.172 ( talk) 21:45, 19 February 2012 (UTC) reply

Hi 14.139.123.36: I don't know about this edit. It's not really an advertisement as it is a recommendation for the reader to look at a free source. Either way I've reinstated the ref, at least, as it probably is the source for the rest of the preceding paragraph. Invasive Spices ( talk) 16:27, 9 October 2021 (UTC) reply
