Why are all of the U.S. Acre references changed to Orson's Farm references? The original title of those segments was U.S. Acres, and it should therefore stay that way. The fact that Orson's Farm was the name used in all markets outside North America is irrelevant; we should use the original title.
It says that seasons 6 and 7 weren't shown in syndication. While I don't know about now, I am positive that many of those episodes at least used to be (oh, 8-10 years ago), as I recognize them, and didn't watch at least the last couple seasons in the original airing. Melodia Chaconne 23:01, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Would people please stop changing the "U.S. Acres" references to "Orson's Farm" references? That's the original title, and it should therefore read as "U.S. Acres".
I asked to Mark Evainer via e-mail about why Arlene don't appear on the show but Penelope instead. I don't know how to add the answer to the article with a citation -- Atoon 17:36, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Wade's floatation tube expressions The article states that the duck head on Wade's floatation tube follows his expressions, but never his mouth movements. This is not true. In at least one episode (Fine Feathered Funny-man) Wade's toy duck head copies his mouth movements as well. [ [1]] EthanL ( talk) 08:30, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

I think that this episode should be included here, as it's Garfield's most recognizable cartoon ever. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.169.80.120 ( talk) 15:53, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Guys, is this some inside joke I'm missing here? Rosalina doesn't exist. And if you have actual evidence of Rosalina's existence please supply references. Otherwise, you might confuse the poor souls who come here and think Rosalina exists.
And if you have an actual reputable source that says Rosalina exists and was deliberately edited out of syndication AND the DVD sets, please inform us. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.247.188.112 ( talk) 06:37, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
If you mean Roselyn, then just watch The Great Getaway.
If you don't, then you might wanna check VHS tapes of the original CBS airings. 2602:30A:C010:11F0:4109:E2E4:557E:C7E ( talk) 14:49, 6 May 2013 (UTC)

I just changed First Garfield Story to First Garfield Cartoon and the like (basically, I just changed mentions of story to cartoon in the section which describes the format.) I just felt cartoon was more appropriate. If anyone feels this is incorrect, revert it. 67.180.128.232 ( talk) 22:23, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
If somebody can find the answer, could they add why all the references to U.S. Acres were changed to Orson's Farm on the DVD releases? I know that was the name used for foreign syndication, but AFAIK "U.S. Acres" was used both for CBS and the syndicated airings in the United States, so why do the Region 1 DVDs use the Orson's Farm name? The only use of the U.S. Acres name was one of the quickies on Volume 2 was called U.S. Acres Quickie, every other short and full length segment uses the Orson's Farm name. This seems odd, and something that could be mentioned in the article. 96.25.248.210 ( talk) 02:00, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
I'll be getting sick of all the "Orson's Farms" around Volume 5, DIsc 2. 2602:30A:C010:11F0:4109:E2E4:557E:C7E ( talk) 14:49, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
I can't believe I have to fight for this point, but describing Nermal as androgynous is as ridiculous as trying to describe Bert and Ernie as gay. It goes against the fact that Nermal has long been established as a male in both the comic strip and the cartoon(s). That a handful of people view him as androgynous is meaningless to and should not be a part of the article. 184.7.167.28 ( talk) 15:51, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

Viacom’s recent purchase of Garfield only gave them the Garfield IP. It didn’t give them access to everything Garfield (for example, the live action movies are in Disney’s hands). 9 Story still holds the distribution rights to this show and will continue to do so until whatever deal they had in place with Paws Inc. expires.-- PinkiePie097 ( talk) 01:21, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
For a while, the show aired in an hour-long block on CBS, with only one intro and one set of closing credits. These were broken up into half-hour shows for syndication. Since Garfield's tag in the intro would sometimes reference things from the second half-hour but absent when broken apart (for example, the "It Must Be True" episode mentions Binky the Clown appearing, but he is not present in the half-hour edit), it's clear these were not simply two episodes stitched together. This should be mentioned in the article. Sm5574 ( talk) 00:13, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
