Sources agree on an English pronunciation of [GAL-a-TEE-uh], as suggested by the Greek and the Latin Galatēa. Adj. form would be Galatean (gal'-a-tee'-un). kwami 2005 June 30 08:30 (UTC)
The simulated view of Galatea could be misleading, as the model used for Galatea is a generic asteroid mesh rather than a model of Galatea. Chaos syndrome 15:11, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
The article says "...shows no sign of any geological modification..." AFAIK the best images of Galatea are only a few pixels wide, so that statement sounds absurd. Of course, the moon is tiny that any (internal) geological activity is impossible.-- Jyril 20:34, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
