Was Nigel Gresley involved of GNR Ivatt 1 Class 0-6-0 plans? Because what I found was that it was on Nigel Gresley's Wiki saying that he was apart of it. I want to know because I think I credited to the wrong person. HistoryBird ( talk) 03:48, 25 September 2023 (UTC) reply

@ HistoryBird: At that time, GNR locomotives were Ivatt's responsibility; Gresley had been Carriage and Wagon Superintendent since February 1905, and Ivatt was his immediate superior. Gresley became Locomotive Engineer on 1 October 1911, following Ivatt's retirement. -- Redrose64 🌹 ( talk) 20:56, 25 September 2023 (UTC) reply
