If all the ant-fungus mutualisms occur in this clade, shouldn't the details be included in this article? Bendž| Ť 17:43, 7 September 2007 (UTC) reply

It may be good to keep the ecological aspects separate even if the phenomenon is restricted to a taxon. Shyamal ( talk) 03:58, 18 November 2007 (UTC) reply
I'm not sure what you mean by 'separate'. The ecological aspects should certainly be discussed here as well even if there is a 'separate' article. At the moment there is nothing at all here so the merge seems sensible. Maybe a broader article call ant-fungus ecology could be created instead, which could include exploitation as well as mutualism (surely something not limited to this clade). Fungus-growing ants --> Fungus-growing ant

Should ants be plural? Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 23:51, 19 August 2010 (UTC) reply
