"From 1779 Samuel Madder operated the Blackpitts Porter Company on the north of the lane, he acquired a brewery from a James Farrell" - this is a misinterpretation of what Pete Pearson wrote on p221 The Heart of Dublin: Resurgence of an Historic City. Samuel Madder did not acquire the brewery site in Fumbally Lane until 1820 or so. Zythophile ( talk) 23:12, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
