The article states that Attenborough will return as narrator, wouldn't it be more accurate to tell that he will also be the presenter. See, for example, this new article: http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article7100160.ece Readroder ( talk) 21:05, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
re "citation needed" for the statement "because climate change is affecting landforms such as glaciers, ice shelves, and the extent of sea ice"
Help me here - you think citation for the statements of climate change affecting the landforms or that the series is talking about the issues? thanks, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mabra99 ( talk • contribs) 08:12, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
No one ever responded to me so I deleted this "citation needed". All of the evidence for polar changes are already in the wikipedia articles cited.

In any case are separate images required for both the book and the calendar? the same image is used for both. It also clutters up the page unnecessarily. Stripy tie ( talk) 00:23, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
This section suggests that the first 6 episodes as shown on BBC were aired on the Discovery channel. The Discovery Channel did not air the episode "Autumn"; instead they aired "The Making of Frozen Planet". Also, the episode "The Last Frontier" seemed to become "Life in the Freezer" on Discovery. Were these actually the same? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thisisskip ( talk • contribs) 17:34, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
BBC is broadcasting all 7 episodes:

Discovery lists the program as only having six parts:

The seventh episode will apparently not be shown in the U.S. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.87.58.172 ( talk) 19:19, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
Due to overwhelming support arising from a change.org petition, Discovery Channel has changed their minds and will air the controversial 7th episode: http://mediamatters.org/blog/201112060017 http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5i_Q_6AtBUwovJnKTfSKphyWp9Ivw?docId=37406c1198c645c7b44ae268ba2cce78 130.126.139.230 ( talk) 19:34, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Article says "topic [of climate change] is frequently debated and its science disputed". Climate change isn't disputed by scientists, even in the US. There should be a reference to who is doing the disputing. This is rather like saying evolution and geology are frequently debated and their science disputed in the US. Well, yes. But only by religionists who think that the garden of eden was a real place and Noah's flood really happened. -- 174.118.211.7 ( talk) 03:06, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

This edit alleged similarities to an earlier case based only on (rather questionable) sources about the earlier case: it's WP:SYNthesis to put together sources to make an allegation that is not explicitly stated an any source. In view of the WP:BLP issues of introducing allegations about Attenborough, more care is needed. . . dave souza, talk 21:56, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
The episode titles are shown in the episodes themselves - is it really necessary to include a disclaimer saying they were taken from the BBC website? We don't do that for, say, Doctor Who. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.3.186.13 ( talk) 20:01, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
