Regarding the use of this Disinisider source in the article, while it is a self-published blog, it is also an interview with the author (Mari Mancusi) of the book in question, and is used in the article only as a source for what Mancusi says about the process of writing her book (attributed as her own claims). Given Mancusi has shared this interview on her public social media accounts ( twitter, tumblr), I don't see any reason to think this isn't a legitimate interview.
