Archaeologically regarded and historically considered, Iran is the origin of freestyle wrestling. -- Wiki-in-basel ( talk) 13:26, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
I will be putting up the different ways of scoring and their point values according to USA Wrestling Rule Book of 2011 ( [1]). Is this an okay rule book that people like?

Greetings. It's a little late in the evening for me to work much longer on this tonight, but I'm planning to put some work in on it in the very near future. There's some good information from the Amateur wrestling page that I dumped over here, and I'll work on reorganizing it. For the record, I'm a freestyle/greco referee, so I hope I'm qualified to help out here. Mytildebang 05:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Should the article on Freestyle grappling be merged into this one? It's not clear that the topic is fundamentally different. EastTN ( talk) 18:12, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
I was looking for techniques when I came to this article and I didn't find anything! I think that a section needs to be added about various techniques used in freestyle wrestling. Kolrok ( talk) 07:30, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Could you provide information on takedowns and types of takedowns their are in freestyle wrestling? And coulee you provide more details on scoring?
Why is it called Women's freestyle wrestling? This implies that it's different from (Men's) Freestyle wrestling. Also UWW calls it Women's wrestling. Is it different from ordinary freestyle wrestling? If so, how? If not why is it not simply called Freestyle wrestling (men's and women's divisions)? 213.149.51.126 ( talk) 01:39, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
