Fred Halliday died today, 26th April 2010. I've made the necessary changes to the page, but I'd appreciate some checking!
I have just erased a paragraph on some mention Halliday made once of (no doubt highly respectable) Victor Dahdaleh which I found had no biographical relevance to Halliday. To me it seemed to be a strange form of advertising for Dahdaleh more than anything else. We would certainly not want to start including paragraphs on all the individuals Halliday may once have mentioned in one lecture or the other. Hvd69 ( talk) 12:48, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
This article could do with more information on his politics.
And describing him as Irish is quesionable since he seems to have spent most of his life elsewhere.-- Jack Upland ( talk) 10:13, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
