There really is no set of refs for a lot of the information on this page, unless it's cribbed/c opied from the FVRD site; in which case the FVRD can be established as an "unreliable source" because so much of the information is entirely misleading when not simple puffery or bogus. I've corrected some bits in the Electoral Area descriptions, but once again I'm finding it disatseful to treat RDs as if they were geographic-region articles; there's so much bad geography in this article, and bad history, it's shameful (e.g. Miracle Valley is not the name of the neighbourhood described, which is McConnell Creek; Miracle Valley only refes to the Salvation Army rehab facility/resort northwest of McConnell Creek, and it's not "surrounded on three sides by mountains" (on one side only, the west). Defenders of RD articles/categories from other provinces just don't seem to get it. RDs are governments NOT REGIONS. And if the RDs themselves can't write up their geographies properly, it's clear that they're not reliable sources..... Skookum1 ( talk) 15:11, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
But there is a neighbourhood called Miracle Valley. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.78.209.64 ( talk) 19:23, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
I just checked the FVRD website and it didn't have any electoral H and and electoral G was staed to have portions of Sumas Mountain on it and awhile ago I remember reading the news and it said that electoral H was joining the City of Abbotsford so what ever happened did it happen? This was in the news awhile back - Abbotsford quit the RD because of the war with Mission over water rights/plans re Norrish/Suicide Creek near Dewdney.....shouldn't there be something about this here....even if they're back in the RD? Skookum1 ( talk) 06:36, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
