I think it should be clarified that the Manifesto CD release did NOT contain the Penis Landscape painting.

Shriner lawsuit

There was a lawsuit involving Jello Biafra and/or and/or the Dead Kennedys and/or Newsweek versus The Shriners and/or a particular shriner over that classic cover photo. Unfortunately I can't find good enough sources to be more specific, although have a feeling I read about this in a book I borrowed from the central library in Cardiff (cardiff.gov.uk probably) about classic album covers. reference to brazil?

is the lyric "you no longer exist" a reference to brazil, the movie... wait what came out first —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.101.142.120 ( talk) 10:17, 16 May 2008 (UTC) reply

It could just as well be a reference to 1984 or Sartre if you have to think of everything as a reference to something else. 76.115.59.36 ( talk) 16:18, 19 January 2009 (UTC) reply

Jock-o-Rama

I have a British pressing of Frankenchrist LP, and on my record song Jock-o-Rama is called Macho-Rama. Also, in all lyrics, words Jock-o- are replaced with Macho-. Any idea on this ? Mairosu ( talk) 01:29, 19 October 2008 (UTC) reply

I guess they thought Brits wouldn't know a jock from a lift. 76.115.59.36 ( talk) 16:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC) reply
