I think I covered most of the ground, even the stuff about his controversial legacy at Johns Hopkins. It would be great if someone sat down and wrote up more about his work for
Yuan Shikai, that's really worth having up there.--

Interesting that the Yuan Shikai article doesn't make the constitution seem like a big deal until there was a war about it.

Yeah, but Yuan was more or less a dictator by 1913 already, so there were plenty of other things to fight about. Yuan Shikai is a really reviled person in Chinese history...--
