Prime Minister of Italy?

is he really Italy's PM it says on the BBC he has only been askedto 'try to form a government'?-- RedMe ( talk) 21:16, 30 January 2008 (UTC) reply

No, he is not the Italy PM. He was merely asked to try to form a government, Prodi is still the incumbent PM until a new one is approved by the Parliament. -- Angelo ( talk) 22:04, 30 January 2008 (UTC) reply
Agreed with Angelo. I'm going to revert the page to reflect this. -- Tsk070 ( talk) 05:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC) reply
I assume he is now a member of the Democratic Party? The information about his party must be outdated. -- Oddeivind ( talk) 19:08, 31 January 2008 (UTC) reply
Yes, he is a Democratic Party member. -- Angelo ( talk) 19:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC) reply

I would also add that it is NOT okay to say that Marini is "delegated PM" or anything similar, because it's possible he could lose the vote of confidence and never even become PM. -- Tsk070 ( talk) 03:43, 4 February 2008 (UTC) reply
