Former Tenants - De Gaulle Family
I have added the fact his Shropshire country house was rented to the De Gaulle family when Charles was exiled from France in Second World War, cited to a Shropshire newspaper story in 1970. French users and readers, please note that 'Salop' in the headline was a colloquial (non-obscene) name for Shropshire, frequently used as abbreviation.
