"LAURANA, Francesco - Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani."
"Italian sculptor, born in Dalmatia, at that time subject to Venice."
"Italian sculptor and medallist. He was one of the most significant and most complex sculptors of the 15th century."
"Italian sculptor, grew up in a Venetian colony on the Dalmatian coast but executed most of his works in Italy"
"Italian sculptor Francesco Laurana"
"The only Italian who is known to have worked in that country before then is Francesco Laurana".
