After previous deletion, Kinslayer proposed to change his opinion. Believe notability of Frederique Constant as Watch Manufacturer was established and accepted.
If still in doubt, please compare notability of Frederique Constant with many other, less known companies on list Watch Manufacturers. Pcstas 06:36, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Frederique Constant was founded in 1988, not 1904 as somebody changed in Wiki. Company founders are Aletta and Peter Stas. The name Frederique Constant is based on our great grand parents Frederique Schreiner and Constant Stas. Pcstas 02:55, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Withdrawn. The accents are appropriate, despite being inconsistently applied. BarrelProof ( talk) 01:22, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
Frédérique Constant → Frederique Constant – The company logo and website do not seem to contain the accents, and they are completely absent from the article content. BarrelProof ( talk) 18:05, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
Perhaps it's a fine point, as these seem to be privately-owned companies with roughly the same people at the helm, but my understanding is that the ownership structure description here and in the Alpina Watches article is a bit incorrect. The Wikipedia articles say that Alpina is owned by Frédérique Constant. However, as found in the Manufacture Modules Technologies (MMT) article and some recent edits with citations, I believe the correct description is that Alpina and Frédérique Constant are distinct entities that are owned by another company named Union Horlogère Holdings or Union Horlogère Holding, e.g., as described here: Stephen Pulvirent (February 26, 2015). "The Swiss Have Finally Started Making Luxury Smartwatches". Bloomberg. Union Horlogère also seems to be a separate watch brand (see http://www.unionhorlogere.ch) – a historic brand name resurrected in 2011. Eventually, we should fix the ownership description. — BarrelProof ( talk) 19:00, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Alpina Watches was added to Frederique Constant page with incorrect statement.
Frédérique Constant owns Alpina Watches International SA
Alpina watches is an independent brand with long history and owned by Citizen Watch upon acquisition in 2016.
Original Alpina page should be restored. Pcstas 17:53, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
