The term foxtail seems to be used as a general term and that might confuse people. The Encyclopædia Britannica says it is in the genera Alopecurus and Setaria of the family Poaceae but I do not know what that means. I assume that that definition excludes some of the plants listed in this article. Sam Tomato ( talk) 03:41, 10 May 2023 (UTC) reply
