Where does this fact come from? It seems unlikely an old steam tug would be converted to oil just before scrapping.

The Mowat book has a diagram, which indicates "towing bows" (I think as in a "bow tie" and not as in "ships bow"). They look like hoops over the stern area of the ship, behind the superstructure. Does anybody know the purpose? Feldercarb ( talk) 22:14, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
