Original Research?

I've queried the statement that the attention given to the Church of Scientology in the early sixties was a result of the controversies over its teachings, policies and activities. This is someone's inference and needs to be justified by a reference; were there any other reasons for the attention? And the Foster, Anderson, Lee and Dumbleton-Powles inquiries were clearly not simultaneous - as evidenced by the dates of their respective reports. DavidCooke 02:09, 2 January 2007 (UTC) reply
