I cleaned up a bit of grammar here and there, capitalizations and use of apostrophes. I'm not sure why the text doesn't wrap to the left of the info box, though, and the paragraphs are still a bit awkward. LTC David J. Cormier ( talk) 18:26, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
According to this article, the fort's first commander was a captain (John Henry). But by the mid-19th century, the man in charge was a brigadier-general ( Franklin Pierce). That seems to be quite a jump in ranks. Is it correct ? RASAM ( talk) 15:40, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
