Merge this article with Cork F.C.

It seems clear that Fordsons and Cork F.C. were the same club, though sources seem scarce (grateful if anyone can offer any). Fordsons changed its name to Cork in 1930 on the closure of the Fordsons factory. Therefore I propose that these two articles be merged. Any views? Mooretwin ( talk) 21:02, 16 March 2015 (UTC) reply

Here's a source that says Fordsons changed their name to Cork in 1930: The Times Are Not A-Changin’ by Brian Kennedy Mooretwin ( talk) 21:14, 16 March 2015 (UTC) reply
Seems sensible - although given the clear evidence, you should have just gone ahead and done it! Number 5 7 12:27, 17 March 2015 (UTC) reply
Would prefer stronger evidence, but I'll leave it a few days before proceeding. Mooretwin ( talk) 23:17, 17 March 2015 (UTC) reply
OK, I'm now proceeding to merge the articles. Mooretwin ( talk) 22:08, 30 March 2015 (UTC) reply
