Some non-USMC sources. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] I haven't looked in to the reputations for each of these sources, but on quick glance they look reputable, and indicate that there are public concerns and criticisms of the plan that should be addressed in the article.
In addition, there was a special supplement this month to the Marine Corps Gazette, titled "Force Design 2030: The Ongoing Debate", which is available via ProQuest (Wikipedia library). It appears to have some interesting analysis. This is one of the articles in it. [8]
