I think something can be done with this report for this wiki page. My dad has it, and one of our family friends, a nephrologist, is one of the authors of this report on the study they did, and my dad was actually part of the trials. galactose and FSGS Rochelle CMN ( talk) 01:57, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
I'm only aware of two case studies reporting successful treatment of FSGS with galactose (De Smet et al., 2009 and Kopač et al., 2011). I believe that there are trials in progress, but galactose treatment is not standard practice. -- 38.112.100.65 ( talk) 21:30, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Some researchers found SuPAR as a cause of FSGS - evidence for this is building see this recent Open Access study in BMC Medicine:
