Hove

I have moved a passage about philanthropy in Hove to this talkpage, as it appears to be relevant to another Flora Sasson, the wife of Sassoon David Sassoon, who could have her own page at Flora Sassoon (1838-1919):

  • "In Hove, she bought 1 acre (0.40 ha) of land at St Ann's Well Gardens, a popular tourist attraction. She donated the site to Hove Corporation, and it was converted into croquet lawns (now the lawn bowling facility). She also donated turf, croquet equipment, summer houses, statues and similar decorative items.Ref: Middleton 2002, Vol. 12, p. 166." Thanks Zigzig20s ( talk) 15:25, 22 October 2013 (UTC) reply
