Flightless fruit flies is not a notable topic to warrant an article of its own, but the info on this page is potentially useful on other pages.

Oppose merge, on the grounds that this page forms a useful page for those readers searching for information on the specific meaning of 'flightless' within the field of fruit fly research. To have one page which summarizes the potential range of meaning is helpful. If anything, conversion to a disambiguation page would be better than a merge, but I suggest leaving it as it is.
