@ Gracchus250 could you please make an interactive map of the Flemington racecourse line, similar in size to the one on the Upfield line please? In addition, can you resize the one on the Craigieburn line to be a bit larger, similar to the Upfield line? Thanks in advance. HoHo3143 ( talk) 01:02, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
There are a limited number of images available for the article as the line only operates for a limited number of days each year. If any editor is able to take photos, please add them to the article. HoHo3143 ( talk) 04:56, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Overall: Not promoted. This article displays serious problems with sourcing/verifiability that were not properly addressed after their initial identification in the GA process. Any future GA candidacies will need to go through a similarly thorough process of checking sources.

AviationFreak, Sorry I didn't get to respond to the above GA nomination comments before it was closed (I haven't been as active the past few days as I would like to have been).
This rail service (Flemington Racecourse line) is a little more complex than the other services in Melbourne, Australia. It exists for special services at either the racecourse or the showgrounds, as such the train operator (
Metro Trains Melbourne) doesn't actually have a link to a year round timetable (as it does with the other services) but instead only produces a timetable if there is an event. To complicate this even more, the line almost never (I think I recall at least once in the past 25 years) runs to both racecourse and showgrounds on the same day (technically this article could be split into 2 articles).
This "lack" of the existence of the "line" until it is needed by the operator can cause issues with trying to get references. Metro Trains (and other sources), tend to not list this line (due to it's intermittent status) when talking about the network as a whole. That is until either the Melbourne Royal Show or the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival is on, then this little line becomes the most important on the network.
