Image shows no true flat shading

While this image is a good example of phong shading, it is not so good for showing flat shading. In my opinion the color of every polygon should be constant which it is not in the image, but maybe I am wrong. Can someone clarify this?

If I am right we could replace the image with de:Image:Flat_shading.jpg which is used in de:Flat_Shading.

It does show flat shading along with specular highlight, which produces the whitish polygons at the top left. Personally, I prefer this image over de:Image:Flat_shading.jpg, which has an unnecessary grid plane and less contrast. -- Mrwojo 19:00, 25 June 2006 (UTC) reply
