A fact from Flashblood appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 July 2010 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the newly spreading practice in
East Africa of flashblood, injecting oneself with blood of another
heroin user to get high, has been called "the most effective way of infecting yourself with
HIV"?
This sounds as believable as that whole
Jenkem scare of a few years ago. —Preceding

Leave it to the Africans to figure out ANOTHER way to kill themselves as stupidly as possible...

The chance of catching disease is higher, but the chance of accidental overdose or other poisoning due to the unknowns the heroin has been cut with is much, much lower. Who again is the stupid one? - Tenebris —Preceding
