Shouldnt this, as a slang term, be added to the First Sergeant page? 74.180.79.68 ( talk) 04:57, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
Another one I've heard quite often is calling a First Sergeant "Top". If it already isn't it should be included in the slang portion as well —Preceding

At least in the Air Force, the First Sergeant is not usually the highest ranking enlisted person in a unit; an Air Force First Sergeant is more a role than a rank, and can be held by a Master Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant or Chief Master Sergeant. It is not uncommon to have a Master Sergeant as a unit's First Sergeant while also having Senior & Chief Master Sergeants in the same unit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.88.174.18 ( talk) 07:45, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
