"The design's bad seagoing capabilities were markedly demonstrated south of Gotland, where she needed tug help from the bigger Swedish ship HMS Drottning Victoria." - this infomation is likely to be missinformation. A historical story in the Helsingin Sanomat -newspaper mentioned, that the naval veterans says incident never happened. I'm currently looking for any realiable sources. The article mentions "the German AA cruiser Niobe". I've not heard of this vessel in a WWII contex before, and the Kriegsmarine didn't even have any AA cruisers. Is this the ancient light cruiser that was built with that name in the 1890s?
Both ships in the class were refitted during the interim peace by replacing the 40mm Vickers guns with Bofors guns, I tried copying the information from the Finnish Wikipedia article, but the lists are incompatible & i have no idea how the syntax of the list in the English version is supposed to work, it won't accept any additional information without either complaining abotu errors or failing to produce the list alltogether.
