I have read of some negative(!) effects on other manufacturers, notably airbus. Anyone able to add this (if true and RS) to the article please? ~~~~ Springnuts ( talk) 20:19, 5 August 2020 (UTC) Not sure if really needed here seeing as COVID super seeded most of that 2603:7080:4C3D:959B:70A1:2EF9:AB0F:A03 ( talk) 04:09, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
I'm writing this in March, 2023. The article is written from the perspective of early 2020 when production was still halted and no airlines were accepting planes that had already been built. It's going to take a pretty big rewrite to get it up to date. Here are some key developments that are totally missing.
In May 2020 limited production resumed.
In November 2020 the FAA lifted the grounding order.
In December 2020 the first commercial flight since the groundings took place.
Throughout 2021, different regulatory agencies lifted their grounding orders (From Canada and EASA in January to China in December).
Airlines began accepting deliveries in early 2022. 24.17.40.164 ( talk) 17:57, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
