..it's more than sensible to assume that "fetish fashion" and the fetish for garments are co-dependencies, inseparable in their origins and participants.

I respectfully disagree with the proposal to merge the topic with "Garment fetishism"; some people do wear fetish clothing (PVC, corsets, etc.) because they like how it looks or the image it projects without fetishizing the garments themselves. For example, I like how I look in a corset and I like how people react to me when I'm in one. —
