The article shoud be entitled "Fernand Iveton" without a Y which is the correct French spelling. See Wikipédia in French and Jean-Luc Einaudi's authoritative book "Pour l'exemple, l'affaire Fernand Iveton" (L'Harmattan - Paris 1986). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.65.121.236 ( talk) 08:14, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

These descriptors are "Algerian Terrorist", however Iveton considered himself a freedom fighter, perhaps a guerrilla, and the bomb-planting for which he was beheaded by the French government was planned in such a way that, had the bomb detonated, it would have caused only minor property damage, care having been taken that no lives would have been at risk. I would propose that the descriptors are changed to "Algerian Freedom Fighter", which would reflect his status in independent Algeria, rather than reflecting the status given him by the French colonial government.
