Music section

the music section looks like it was lifted from an autobiography or something.

it doesn't read like a dispassionate review of his music.

it needs to be changed to a less biased and no glorification of Mr Kuti's work.

wikipedia is supposed to be dispassionate, not an advert. 82.9.94.243 ( talk) 08:08, 4 October 2017 (UTC) reply

I believe the description of Mr. Kuti's work is appropriate. In my view, this section accurately depicts Kuti's impact on the landscape of Nigerian music, and particularly on the Afrobeat genre. Sankara-ture-lumumba ( talk) 03:40, 25 May 2020 (UTC) reply

I excised the following paragraph, as it seems to be more appropriate for the Afrobeat article:

Afrobeat is characterized by a fairly large band with many instruments, vocals and a musical structure featuring jazzy, funky horn sections. A riff-based "endless groove" is used, in which a base rhythm of drums, shekere, muted West African-style guitar, and melodic bass guitar riffs are repeated throughout the song. Commonly, interlocking melodic riffs and rhythms are introduced one by one, building the groove bit-by-bit and layer-by-layer. The horn section then becomes prominent, introducing other riffs and main melodic themes.

Missing private life section

I'm missing his private life section, as well as his relationship with women. I was interested in reading how he treated women. Also, it would have been good to further elaborate on his AIDS denial. 41.203.83.58 ( talk) 06:06, 14 June 2022 (UTC) reply
