I reverted 2 edits by Lastbroken ( talk · contribs) on the grounds that 1) this editor has a disruptive history including a history of adding information that turns out to be incorrect while promoting certain topics including the artist he added, and 2) there is nothing beyond an identical song title to suggest that these are the same songs. If you restore these edits, please provide something to indicate they are the same song. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs)/( e-mail) 20:22, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Please note : There is a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Songs/coverversions with the purpose of trying to establish a standard rule for merge/separate different versions of the same song. Please make known your feelings on the matter. Regards. -- Richhoncho ( talk) 22:45, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
I think they should be merged. Almost every cover song on Wikipedia is merged into the original article. It is important to be consistent. It also makes it seem like that Michael guy wrote that song, which he didn't. 98.203.152.242 ( talk) 07:36, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

This article is in serious need of improvement. It needs expanded sections on the characteristics of the song itself, its original writing, and the Nina Simone recording, which is the best known version. It does not need lengthy lists of artists who have covered it. It certainly does not need the extended lists of trivia which are in the article at the moment. And, even if you think the trivia should remain, it does definitely not need that trivia sorting into chronological lists, which are contrary to WP:USEPROSE and turn a poor article into an even worse one. That's my view, at least. Ghmyrtle ( talk) 21:16, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
I've added a section on early (pre-Nina) versions, and done some prosifying. Are the Michael Bublé and Pussycat Dolls versions sufficiently notable to have their own sections? I have my doubts. Ghmyrtle ( talk) 12:09, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
It seems not Frank Sinatra has covered the song but his son Frank Sinatra Jr.? -- 2A0A:A541:7857:0:9820:AD83:3E39:436A ( talk) 04:13, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
