This paragraph by an anonymous editor doesn't provide any evidence to support the claim that the FAA is "blind to possible undue monetary influence on government policy by advocacy groups", or why that's notable here even if it is true (the law is also "blind to" murder sentencing...), or why the NCC is singled out for mention. -- The Invisible Hand ( talk) 01:04, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Generally, the abbreviation FAA is used for the Financial Administration Act. An alternate abbreviation or alternate text should be used for greater clarity. (NB: I know I could do an anonymous edit, but for a change like this I think it's better to have an audit trail, and I don't have the time to commit to become a regular Wikipedia editor and do the work properly.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.254.125.127 ( talk) 02:45, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
In 2003, An Act to Amend the Canada Elections Act and the Income Tax Act also banned corporate and union donations.
What are the differences in corporate donation restrictions between Bill C-24 from 2003 and Bill C-2 from 2006?
