Uhm... which organism is the shown FAS from? Surely not human and surely not fungal... the structure of mammalian FAS (in PDB: 2VZ8, 2CF2) look completely different and fungal FAS even has other enzymes. -- Dvrvm ( talk) 09:03, 29 January 2009 (UTC) reply

I think that's a representation of a single subunit of mammalian FAS. It's a really nice schematic but since two of the reactions are wrong (noted in the summary) and since it's depicted as a monomer while FAS exists only as a dimer, it might be a bit misleading. -- Anne.J-U ( talk) 05:09, 25 October 2011 (UTC) reply
