New Haven and Northampton Canal
This canal company and/or name needs to be covered in this article. Currently "New Haven and Northampton Canal" is a redirect to here. Please don't delete mention of it. Also the full name of the NRHP listing "Farmington Canal-New Haven and Northampton Canal" can be, and should be mentioned, in the text of the article. Please don't delete. --

The redirect is bolded in the first sentence so no need to explicitly mention it in a hatnote. It is an alternate name and is mentioned as such. The NRIS name is also mentioned now in the paragraph where the NRHP listing is mentioned. --
