I will tackling this article today. Shouldn't be very long, as it is understandably short.Neonblaktalk - 17:00, 3 June 2013 (UTC)reply

"The highway was designated in June of 1964, and its route has been minorly altered since." - Small flow issue to end of the sentence. One suggestion "Since the road's designation in June of 1964, the route has undergone two minor alterations."
Changed, used your suggestion.
Route description
Looks good, no concerns.
History
"By 1964, the highway's surface had been improved to bituminous, a combination of crushed rock and asphalt." I would link Bituminous to
Asphalt. The article states that Bituminous and Asphalt are one in the same. Maybe a minor nitpick.
Ref #14 - Statewide Planning Map appears to be a broken link.
Fixed. Thanks for pointing this out. TxDOT has been changing their website, so I have a bunch of links I need to fix on other pages.

Not mandatory, but I use
non-breaking spaces when you use whole number associated with words or abreviations. Examples: 260 vehicles or SH 24.
Added nbsp templates in all possible places.
That's all I saw, I will put this hold for the time being, and eagerly await the opportunity to promote this to GA.Neonblaktalk - 18:17, 3 June 2013 (UTC)reply
