Proposed Changes to Farm Credit Data

I am an intern of Farm Credit Council, and I would like to propose the following edits to this article to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date. Here are the proposed changes along with third-party references:

  • Specific text to be added or removed: The merger of Farm Credit of New Mexico and American AgCredit Farm Credit cooperatives took place on Oct. 1, 2023, creating one Farm Credit Association with enhanced marketplace stability, increased funding capacity, and better access to technology.
  • Reason for the change: Farm Credit of New Mexico no longer exists; merged with American AgCredit in 2023.
  • References supporting change: https://apps.fca.gov/FCSPublicDirectory/PubViewInst.aspx?u=725203
