Wolverine's brown costume- I'll point out here, since I didn't put it in the edit, that he gets his brown costume in issue 139, over 30 issues (2 years) after he defeats Fang. I don't think there was a connection between them. If anything, Fang's outfit is almost a dead ringer for Sabertooth's original outfit.
