I think an edit needs done

Sorry! I don’t feel comfortable editing this as I do not have actual data. I just noticed that the article titled “Family of Kamala Harris” states that Douglas Emhoff was married to his first wife for 25 years but if you go to the page for Douglas Emhoff or Kerstin Emhoff they both state that they were married 16 years. poor pictures. Everyone is in a mask

If all is shown are people in masks I think they should be removed or choose better pictures. Jawz101 ( talk) 19:16, 6 June 2024 (UTC) reply

Ancestry

I've reworded the section about her ancestry here [1]. The CNN source provided has footage of her personally saying that her father is from Jamaica while her mother is from India. [2] For a deeper dive into her parents ethnic backgrounds (i.e - her mother being Tamil Indian to be exact), the "parents" subsection already does that.

IDK why previous wording said she had "Black" heritage but specified the Indian and Irish ancestry? She calls her Indian-born mother a "Brown woman" at the 2:10 mark of the CNN video. Should we change the wording to say: "[Kamala Harris] is of Black descent on her father's side and Brown descent on her mother's side"? Clear Looking Glass ( talk) 15:45, 22 June 2024 (UTC) reply
